I still poke in once in a while. Look for an update on my '07 Rebel. I just haven't had time to work on it. But today I have to make a run for bolts for it, then hopefully back together and running.

I finally did the valve adjustment on the CB500XA @ 15K miles, started in April and finished in May. The adjustment was definitely needed.
Things still look pretty quiet here.

I'm poking in again, yes things are very quiet here. Why does it take a month to adjust valves? Started late night April 31st and into may? Waiting on tools? Bad weather? Ill health? Hooked on a Star Trek marathon? Waiting on parts? Ate yourself into a food coma? Lazy? Or just plain forgot about it from a distracting phone call?

I really want to answer "all of the above", but, ...
When I took my reloading equipment and hunting rifles to the boy in Montana, I included the micrometer (used to measure case head expansion when developing new loads). Two of the shims were illegible. First I had to acquire a new micrometer. Once that arrived, I measured everything and ordered 8 new shims and a new rubber top for the left footpeg. I think that the rubber pad caused it to take 8 days before the shims arrived. Then it was so hot that I was quitting at 8 am because of heat in the garage and in the sun, until we got a cold snap. I buttoned everything up and put in a new drive sprocket that last day.
