Moved the foot pegs forward 5 inches today on one of the 450's. Everything added is made with stainless steel, hard to work with but it will polish up nicely. --

Those look sharp! Did you make them or buy them? The only thing I don't like about my 450 is the somewhat cramped feeling I get as compared to my 250's with floorboards.

Thanks, I made them. The flat bar that moves the foot pegs was made from 1/4 x 1-1/4 stainless steel and then all I had to do was replace the brake rod and the shift rod. The shift rod is a bear because one end of it has a metric left hand thread.

You found metric left hand tap and die sets? I wish! My small lathe is metric so it can cut metric threads, right or left hand.

Are you selling forward control sets? I had not thought about it but I don't see why not! Unfortunately stainless steel is very expensive and it is heavy so it is expensive to ship. I am thinking a set would have to run $150.oo

It's been a busy summer for me. Today I finally got around to installing my forward controls, it took me about an hour. The only hitch I had was that one of the brake rod forks was a little wide and didn't let me put the cotter pin in. Nothing a C-clamp couldn't take care of. Everything assembled easily other than that.
And then the ride! First mistake I made was putting my feet where the pegs used to be, LOL. I love them!!!! Floorboards on my 250's made my stock 450 feel cramped, but now it's VERY comfortable. OldSchool really did a great job making these, my hat is off to you sir! Only thing is, summer is now over and there isn't much riding time left...
